50 Webinars were organized live on Facebook during the lockdown with diverse topics related to journalism and mass communication for the students to have an uninterrupted learning experience.

· Interdisciplinary International Conference on the topic “Women in the 21^st Century: India & Abroad” was organized by MGM CJMC on the occasion of women’s day in which research students as well as various faculty presented their researches on various topics.

· International Symposium on ‘Human Rights for Communicators: An Approach to peace journalism’ in collaboration with DISHA International Foundation Trust was organized by CJMC. A delegation from Asian & European countries including Milisav Milinkovic, Anna Sarkisyan, Dijan Puskar, Luca Frongia, Andras Lorincz, Ismi Novia were present. Advocate Asim Sarode (Human Rights Lawyer) expressed his concern about lack of powerful mechanism in India regarding human rights implementation.

· A Seminar on “Citizenship Law: Confusion & Reality” was organised on the occasion of Darpan Day. Senior Journalist and Political Analyst Mr. Jaidev Dole, NRC Analyst & Researcher Ms. Meghna Dhoke and Journalist Mr. Sameer Shaikh were present for the event. Lt. Col. Dr.Satish Dhage also guided the students in regard with the constitution.

A special lecture on National Press day encompassing the topic “Current Political situation and the role of media” was organised for CJMC students. Political Analyst Mr. Hemant Desai and senior column writer Mr. Jaidev Dole channelized the young aspiring journalists with the current trend of media.

A guest lecture was organised by Mr. Niranjan Takle (Investigative Journalist) on the topic of Finding Footprints of Mahatma Gandhi after 100 years

Martyr's Day was celebrated in the entire MGM Campus and a special lecture of Mr. Sopan Joshi (Gandhian Philosopher) on the topic of 'The people and the environment in the constructive work of Mahatma Gandhi was organized at CJMC.

Guest lecture by P. Sainath (Senior journalist & founder editor of the People's Archive of Rural India) on the topic of “Climate Change and Agriculture Management” on 25^th August was arranged.

Arun Sadhu memorial scholarship Program in collaboration with Granthali & Savitribai Phule Pune University was organised at MGM CJMC where renowned journalist Mr. Rajdeep Sardesai was present as a chief guest. Senior Editor Mr. Kumar Ketkar also addressed during the event.

· CJMC students in collaboration with Abhuday Foundation went to Kolhapur for relief activity in flood affected areas. Students had prepared 4000 family kits which were distributed to the victims.
