Praveen Bardapurkar is a leading name in contemporary Political, Social, and Literary Marathi journalism. He has to his credit a long and all round experience of more than 42 years in the field of journalism. He has reported Parliament as well Assembly and council reporting for more than 20 years. He is a blunt, well-informed as well as a clean and sensitive journalist who always keeps the human being at the core of his news and is an editor with complete and comprehensive understanding of journalism. He is regarded as an expert journalist in political commentary and pen portrayal, who accepts social commitment with secularism. Prof. Praveen is an Ex Editor, Loksatta Nagpur / Indian Express Group; Ex Political Editor at New Delhi, Lokmat Media. He has been honored with various awards like Marathi Sampadak Parishad’s Vishnu Shastri Chiplunkar Journalism Award and Acharya Atre Pratisthan’s Acharya P. K. Atre Journalism Award. He has authored 20 e-books and more than 12 books. He is fellow of prestigious Salzburg Seminar. He has participated in massive International Workshops and conducted lectures in many National and International Conferences.
